Here's Pete Hamiltons 1970 Daytona 500 winner. The best thing I love about this build (probably one of my oldest suviving models) is that most of the details are scratch built NOT aftermarket! I too could build well at one time, but my eyes arn't as good as they once were. AK

Lots of good looking cars here. Like the dirt trackers and all. Not much into building Nascar kits. But here is a shot of something I have been working on out of nascar kits. Call this a drive in progress.. A shot of the few Nascar I have.

Looking good Junkman. It appears that even though you're not really a big NASCAR fan you're still a Petty fan like me! Many years ago I went to Level Cross, NC to the Petty museum and took a bunch of pictures of the Superbird that was on display there. As soon as I got home I started building the Superbird I have pictured here, but instead of building the same number #43 bird that is everyone does, I decided to build Richards team mates car which actually won at Daytona in 1970. That is why I have a replica of Pete Hamiltons Superbird instead of Richard Pettys car. AK

What a collection of roundy round cars guys. Bunch of cool stuff. Spacecowboy, for my personal tastes, I really like your 53 Vette. I like, I like, I like.
