Thanks Buddy. I have kind been like a light, on and off on this build. It may sound a bit childish but I am kind of burned out on total fabricated builds at the moment. I feel kind of bogged down and sitting on one build with everything to do it does take time and I do not have much to spare these days. I am taking a bit of a break and concentrating on two other builds I want to finished. I will be pecking away at this one behind the scenes. I want to complete the chassis of all building and fabricating so I can concentrate on the motor. I did find a cross ram 426 Hemi and pulled the water pump housing off and made elephant ears for the motor to sit on the frame. It worked very well and I will be posting pictures of that soon. Thanks for the kind words. Chas.

Chas, This is totally AWESOME! The stance looks spot on and those wheels are perfect! I understand about getting bogged down especially when you're doing so much scratch building! I think you have the right idea, working on other projects you want to finish and continuing on this one slowly. It's going to be impressive when you are done for sure! popcorn-and-drink-smiley-emoticon

Thanks Alan, I do not know the direction on paint and other details yet but something will come to mind. I tried to set this up Gasser Style and I like them a bit higher than most folks. They just look right to me. I will have to re-engage on this build a bit more and get some more mods to the engine done to make it fit right. Going to a swap/show this weekend. Hope to find a crummy Beer Wagon kit so I can get some more gasser hedders. At this point sticking with the cross ram but I could end up ditching the scoop and have injectors popping out of the hood before its done. Like most of my builds there is no canvas to go by. Its shoot from the hip. I make changes along the way as well. For the moment its a lot of focus on the Daytona Ute and foiling and clear coating cars that have been sitting and waiting for a long time.

Thanks Bud, having fun doing this one. That suspension under that car is all hand made by me. Only thing used was the rear axle housing. Everything else is done by yours truly. I think when this one gets paint I ought to put a name on it unlike my other gassers I recently did? Thinking of calling it Furious Fury. Gotta think about the color. Maybe a candy or metal flake red or perhaps Yellow with red tinted glass? Thought of Inca Gold but the BMF won't show up well with that color. In saying that that Inca Gold might go better on my Daytona Ute as I don't have to foil that one and the color is really cool

I think yellow with red tinted windows would be sharp!

Yeah, me too Alan kind of copying that 55 Chevy called Bad News but no red see through scoop. I am thinking that Yellow with Red tinted windows and some name on the quarter panel might look good. I saw a set of gasser decals I may have to use.

...or you could go a differant route by painting it pink and naming it "A Woman's Fury"....

...or you could go a differant route by painting it pink and naming it "A Woman's Fury".... And make a sales banner decal for the door that reads: Need a Divorce? Uncontested - 200 Contested - Shirt off your back
