That's pretty cool! what material is that? It looks like it is furry so I don't think it's just printed paper.

I just clicked on the new thread, and your engine popped up. I don't know how many of you watch agents of shield, but mikes engine made me think of ghost riders charger. Really tough looking Mike!

So a few weeks ago I ordered a resin outlaw hood for this build unfortunately or fortunately my engine is a little to big for it so need to figure out a new plan for the hood. Anyhow this is the hood I ordered . this is the car from the eBay add by the way definitely not mine lol.

That hood looks GREAT! Is the clearance issue minor that you could thin the hood down a little? or is it a lot, requiring a shorter engine? I don't think I would cut a hole in the hood...

Unfortunately it's a lot lol and really don't want to hack in to the engine so just going to modify the hood that came with the kit I think what I have in mind should look pretty good when it's done.

Yep, I know that eBay seller well - I have like 8 hoods from him still. I ordered one of his 10 hoods auction awhile back.
So far, the few I have used did not fit that great, good enough for the girls I go with, but not that great.
I think your idea on modifying the stock would be nicer, you do some amazing work Mike!

I"m not sure if I missed it, but if you're keeping the blower, it probably wont fit under that hood. And Tom is right, his hoods always need work. They're usually very think and sometime even warped. You still have plenty of time to modify yours I think. I'm still trying to bend mine into shape, literally.

Thank you Tom and Iceman I appreciate it fellas. As far as having enough time lol yes sir that's actually the only part I have left to do on this build so hopefully it's going to be done Sunday I'm guessing. Since the cats out of the bag here's the latest updates I have on this one until I get the hood done actually turned out really nice a great kit for sure. Just not the cheapest just hope I've done this kit justice lol

Looks good Mike, just make sure you give it a good wipe down before your final pics mate, ( those little specs on it really stand out on that dark color.)
A very tough build Mike,
