Frank, or as he went by on here, KNARF, was a very cool person. He finished some awesome builds, and inspired us all in one form or another. I personally knew how he liked NASCAR, Monster trucks, and pretty much anything racing. For the pickup truck, (in memory of Knarf), MOTM build, I thought it would be fitting to build my first monster truck in Frank's honor. Starting with the AMT USA-1 Monster Truck kit, I kept the white base color theme, but jazzed it up with some red / black stripes, and a huge center green stripe. Basically box stock, other than I did wire up the motor with a pre-wired distributor. Was hard to get a good picture, but there is golden / tan colored flocking for the carpet and headliner. The biggest custom touch, was the decals I made for this truck. Using Frank's avatar picture from here on the club, his name - KNARF, and most importantly, and hardest to make I might add, was his logo he displayed in many of his builds. The Punkybutt Customs logo in his diorama. But I knew this just had to be on this build, to honor a really descent person, who we all miss a great deal. For you, my friend Frank, hoping you are enjoying the dream bench in heaven, with a never ending supply of kits..... SIDE FRONT CHASSIS MOTOR INTERIOR And now, some cool extra's...............
