My idea was to build a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE bug out van. The first thing I thought I would want is 4x4 in case I need to drive around any sketchy areas and to help with traction. Next I took a lesson from "Zombie Land" and added a plow to the front in case I needed to push any abandoned vehicles out of the road. It also helps protect the radiator from any ambushes from armed highwaymen, or if I have to mow down any zombies shuffling in the road. I was going to add a dirt bike to the back for scouting purposes, but decided it was just too long so I added a spare tire instead. The color is semi gloss black....( what other color would a SHTF vehicle be? ) inside is pretty plain, with just the barest minimum of survival gear. If it wouldn't have cluttered the build I would have made a set of cabnets over the couch for extra storage. Anyway this is a model and as most models it is only a representation of the real thing, so enjoy! Front side chassis interior engine Back Here's a few more just because....

Zombie killer ROCKS!! smileyCASHS601_zps1c54a9c5
Love the satin black look - and the plow is a perfect touch! I take it you left the roof removable - nice! Love how you can move about the guns inside. Sweet build Alan, a career in movie making is in your future, I can tell!!! two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

Thanks CC! I didn't want to mar the finish on the bed or couch so I didn't glue the guns on.

Now I'm a big fan of Walking Dead , would like to think I would last awhile if it ever goes down . I always wonder why no one has a van like this in the show ! I know it's what I would be looking for ! Great build !!

Very nice build Alan , looks like a great zombie removal set up , push 'em out the way or run over them Awesome !! only think it needs is a white # 3 one the door and a big box of Twinkies inside can't relate to Walking Dead never seen it ( don't have TV ) only seen Zombie land , great build smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f

Thanks guys! I did get the idea for the plow from Zombie Land ( rule #5,always have a plow on your vehicle...lol) I do have a set of #3 decals from a Craftman seris Truck and considered using them here, but changed my mind....now if it was an Escalade.....
