Ok here's my next project, or with me another project being started. I'm going to do this like one I saw at a local auto show. It will be B5 blue with a black interior. Stace

Ok been throwing some paint around this week. I'm using actual B5 Blue that I bought from my local dealership! I will be using a Vaughn Hart console less interior. Interior color week be flat black. Thinking of trying semi gloss but we'll see. Thanks for ask the comments. Painting is hard here right now due to high humidity levels. Thanks again. Stace

Wow, loving that blue, looks super nice!! smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f
Definitely grab some satin black - Krylon Fusion makes a great looking, fast drying, satin black. I get mine from Wal-Mart
I love the stuff for seats, chassis, whatever you want black. They make it in gloss and flat as well...

Ok tried a different primer on another body and I think the lighter color looks closer to the real car. How about you guys?? Stace

Stace
I had the local Napa paint shop mix me up 8oz of B5 Blue for one of my projects. I had to strip my Challenger R/T due to finding a hidden flaw in the plastic I didn't see till paint went down. Found a cold joint across the roof just in front of the B pillar driver side. I thought the B5 Blue was wrong so I took it to a local MOPAR guy and he checked it with the factory paint chip set he has. It was spot on under a magnifying glass. But you are right the lighter one does look closer to the one you got to ride in. Can't wait to see this one done, keep on building and we will keep on watching.

Ok haven't had much time to work on this and unfortunately I won't have it done by the 27 th for a show. Here's what I do have done. The dash and tires. Need to finish the rims. A big thanks to Paul for his suggestion on doing the gauges!! They do look nice the way he suggested to do them!!! Stace
