Hardly a challenge for a master modeler such as yourself. smileyCASHS601_zps1c54a9c5

Good job Ken, I have seen and heard of this trick before. Looks like it worked out fairly well for ya!
BMF itself can be so finicky and curly and down right ruthless. I have TONS of this double sided tape, just may have to try out this foil trick once myself
Looking good sir!!!

Well that's an interesting method for applying BMF, and looks great. I would not have thought of that. Unfortunately I'm out of double sided tape and am having no success in finding more. All I see in the stores is the really thick tape. What brand is that tape you have?

Pound store 3 reels for a pound, cheap as chips.

All I see in the stores is the really thick tape. What brand is that tape you have? You know that plastic that you can put up over your windows? You can get these in Wal-Mart fairly cheap, the double sided tape in those is super thin. I have several unused rolls of this stuff, gonna give it a go. Thinking to check Dollar General / Wal-Mart for other kinds as well

Looking very real KP - awesome engine detailing!!!

And to correct your son's Transformer / Camaro / Bumblebee knowledge.....
Bumblebee was originally a classic 1977 Camaro before using his advanced technology to transform into a 2006 Camaro concept car.
But the upcoming Transformer 4 movie, they have updated Bumblebee as a "highly-modified" 1967 Camaro SS.
Sooooo...... no matter what, you are correct. NEVER has a Bumblebee transformer been a '69 Camaro.... high-five-smiley-emoticon
I know a little bit of this subject you could say, since our 1:1 Camaro I myself, "Transformed" if you will, into our own version of Bumblebee

LOL - just a sweet little ole V-6
BUT - I do have a set of turbo's in my garage yet to install, just need to find a shop that will cut out the inner fender walls, NICELY, to be able to install them. Now that she is off her warranty - she is fair game to hop up!
Right now, she is just a baby at 312HP, but once I get the turbo's on her, and possibly a top carry super charger, if I can get Mike to sell that to me as well. This would have her up to between 500 and 525HP egyptian Figure with a little more tuning, new exhaust, new ram air hood and some new computer chips / rebooting her, I could have her closer to 600-HP road-rage-smiley-emoticon
I have a close friend that is helping me do just this - hopefully all to be done by next year. Just hope I do not go through Cams like he does! But for sure, this will make our Bumblebee a real sleeper for the street, nobody will be expecting that kind of horses coming from her
Below is his, same year Camaro....
Here are a couple motor shots of ours, you can see how tight it is, and why I need to do some inner fender cutting for the turbo's. I also tried to capture the lighting I have put throughout - tough to get a picture of that, but it sure wins us awards! LOL

Hi all off to hunstanton over the weekend so no modeling, but this is what I'm thinking for the interior of this, do you think it will go with the silver or should I do some orange or gold hi lights, also should I leave it as cloth or satin finish it.

Gold highlights I think would be good, and I like the satin idea as well
