Here is my entry, it's a 50 Oldsmobile, paintwork is grey primer clearcoated and candy orange with lace effect pattern.
Thanks for looking

Most often at shows I get asked "What were you thinking?" when folks see this. At a car show I saw a custom van, that had a big pirate themed mural on the side, but that's really all he'd done. I thought he could have taken the theme much further. So I decided to do it myself. The interior was the most fun to do. The floors are all real wood with lower door panels painted to match. The upholstery is a microfiber from um...... a ladies undergarment ........ that my wife sourced for me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. The trim is very thin Xmas ribbon. The steering wheel was a charm for a ladies charm bracelet from Michaels. The poor fella in the back was caught stealing rum and there he stays as a warning to other rum-pilferers. The decals are home made on an inkjet printer. The color is Krylon Oiled Bronze and Testors Inca Gold. The headlights and taillights are adhesive backed jewels from Michaels. I had a lot of fun with this.
This is an old build of a 49 Ford, way before details were important, it just had to look good on the shelf.
I was inspired by the Jesse James Monster Garage episode he did.
Not the same model he did, but you can tell where i got inspiration from.
Roof has been chopped, wheel spats (fender covers) added, channeled chassis, home made carb stacks, and white walls.
added a ridge up over the hood, roof and trunk for that custom touch, and topped off with a Gene Winfield paint fade.
MY 5
I'm going to pull the 40 out for a spin around the block. It's chopped, sectioned and dropped. The interior apart from the dash is all camero with surprisingly little trimming to fit. The engine is a hemi squashed into the bay (putting a square peg into a round hole springs to mind, lol) and the chrome is stock.
Just to show that almost any car can be customized I am entering my 67 Chevelle. It has been sectioned, roof has been changed to a Trans Am roof line, hood has been reversed, front end is from a Corvar kit, running gear, frame and motor all from a corvette, interior is part Chevelle/Trans Am/Corvette. paint is Gray Primer that has been wet sanded buffed and cleared. Side exhaust is made from aluminum tube.
a few more to show the changes
