Since this is a newly released kit from a fairly new model manufacturer, I thought I'd do a review of the contents. First impressions are very good, I cant see any flash or mould lines, even on the roll cage. The only thing that lets it down to me is the wheels, but I'm comparing them to the revell mk2 wheels which are the best kit unilite/minilite wheels I have seen. There are 2 sets of tyres for road and off road with nice tread moulding. It's a curbside kit so no engine detail other than the sump. It also has both left and correct ( ) dashes, and a choice of grilles for round and square headlights. The instructions are clear and run to 18 sides of a4, in a booklet. In the instructions it gives the paint codes for tamiya, but has a guide for revell and humbrol at the start. I was pleasantly surprised that the body comes in a separate box which seems a good idea to me (especially after all the fuimi porsches I've bought that have squashed roofs) There is a small photoetch for the brakes, seatbelt buckles and grille. There is seatbelt material also included along with metal transfers for the badges and a full decal sheet. Another thing I noticed while looking through the instructions was mention of future parts kits to do other versions and by the positions that are marked for drilling I wouldn't be surprised if it was the safari version with the external cage and raised suspension (the kits doesn't say what other versions will be, I'm guessing at it) This ties in with hoe belkits have done their other kits, releasing one version in rally spec followed by transkits for the other spec versions such as gravel, tarmac and snow so I hope to see more for this kit soon
One of the kit boxes (I opened the other one)
This is what you will see when you open the box
The box with the body inside
The body
4 of the 5 sprues (I didn't get a decent pic of the glass so no pic)
The grille options (there is a photoetch piece for the centre)
The wheels which I feel let down the rest of the kit
The 2 tyre options
The engine sump piece with dash behind
The decals, seatbelt material, tyres, emblem transfers and photoetch pieces
And just a sample of the instructions
Seems like a nice kit but I will update this when I get to building it.
