Thanks Stitch, I have a 67 revell vette and tried some stuff out on this car and it did not work well. I have an AMT 63 Vette but its a later release and though parts are not exact they fit. The hood is going to be a MAJOR headache as its a one year only part and has not been reproduced. I did find the same hood on Feebay but the guy wants 10 bucks for it. Little too steep for me. There is a swap in a couple of weeks and im going to look there. Maybe somebody has a CHEAP junker like this one I can get for the parts as I really want to restore it with dated parts if I can. Thanks for thinking about me though! Chas.

Thanks Larry, got it, clicked on it, and he and I already made a deal, thanks buddy. This is the Vette after a 4 day soak and scrape. I had a 73 Challenger I got from Paul last year that had paint like this on it but I got all of it off that one. This one is another story. This is pretty old kit and I dont want to get too harsh with chemicals and ruin the body but Purple Power aint getting it done. I just scored and identical parts model for this one to help with the missing parts. Just have to get the body stripped right.
