I've got it primed. Have probably broken every rule though. It was dark so I had the torch/flashlight in one hand, the body resting on a spraycan and it is freezing so the spraycan was sliding on the ice just from the pressure from the paint. Once it's set a bit and safe to handle I'll take it inside and see how it turned out. But rules were made to be broken, lol

I need to give it another couple coats of filler primer. Some of the scratches from cleaning the body are still showing but it hasn't reacted this time thankfully

Hopefully this is the last coat of primer. Been a nice warm day so got some stuff primed including this. I'm trying a change of brand on the primer and it seems much better than the holts is. Hopefully the holts paint will work with it.

It worked, there's still a small trace of the scratches but I can live with them. Going to let it sit overnight now before flatting for another couple of coats of laquer. There's a lot of orange peel but it's just in the laquer so fingers crossed I can flat it without wrecking the paint. I'll be glad to finish this one, the paint has fought me all the way on the body, while everything else just fell in place. giving-thumbs-down-smiley-emoticon

Thanks mate, it's finished now apart from some small bits on the rear suspension but I'm going to cut down the axle a little. It looks like the wheels have too much poke in the pics
