That engine bay is Tight man! Looks really cool, very realistic! And I must agree with Frank, the picture stand is a true original!!!

It hit a wall. The glass doesn't fit if the interior is in and none of the suspension wants to stay in one piece. Might manage by the deadline but its doubtful.

This kit just doesn't want to go together. I've carefully trimmed the glass and interior tub so now it sits nicer but the front suspension is scrap. The rear can be saved just not tonight. It's going so badly just now that even the steering wheel wont stay stuck.

It really sucks when you do heaps of modifications to a build, and a lot of the time , the bit that bites you are the bits that HAVEN'T changed..... Hope you get it done mate, if not tonight, ......soon bud.

Yeah mate, after 4 hours trying to get the front suspension on I gave up. I've got a load of styrene sheets and strips on the way so probably going to try scratching it up from what is useable on the front.

I've had a plan form for how to finish this. I was looking through my kits and found a garage set I had forgotten about buying,(I dont think I have that many kits tbh) so at some point will build this as an in progress dio. This will also save me messing about trying to build my own front suspension. The garage set even has boxes for the brand of wheels I was considering for this, and I have a figure from the kubelwagen kit that should work once I reshape the army cap into a ball cap. Kinda lucky that the only breakage when it hit the wall was suspension
