Custom Culture Show was organized for the second time in 2014. The show took place in an old Hesinki Cable Factory that was filled with Hot Rods and Customs, Motorbikes, Custom Bicycles, Model Cars, Pinstripers etc. Basically there was everything that can be thought of as Custom Culture. To be honest, the number of cars and bikes is not as big as in other car shows here, but there is a lot to see. I think it has been an excellent show every time and 2014 was no exception. I was there putting together the Model Car Show part with a couple of modeling friends. We were also building something while the show was open, and even I was building there. Lots of people came to ask questions on different things about scale modeling and I think it was fun to be there buiding.
Looks like my dad shot a picture where I'm building my Fiat 500 Altered with a Chevy 409. I'm not sure if I should post it or not as a picture of me is usually no good...
Anyway if you didn't get scared about that first pic', here are all of the pics from that show: Full Gallery.
And here are some Teaser Shots:
Saturday Night was a Party Night! There were three excellent bands on the Stage and a Burlesque Show too.
First band, a Finnish group called Daryl Haywood Combo played an excellent set of Rockabilly just like it was back in the day... Daryl Haywood Combo - I'm Gonna Get Away
The second band was also from Finland. It was Shoebox Revue that sounds amazing every time. They call it a mixture of Rockabilly & R&B. I don't know what category it officially fits into, but it's great. Shoebox Revue - Stranded In The Jungle
The last band was my all time favorite from Sweden... The Go Getters! They played a long set and it sounded fantastic as always. The Go Getters - Lady Luck
