OK guys this is a kit that I built in late 2001 for my girlfriend. We parted ways in 2005 and she saved it the whole time as a sentimental thing. Al (tubbs) sent me the parts I needed and soon the body will go in the purple pond. I will take my sweet time to do it better and make it a true standout. Thanks Al for getting me the parts and only thing I need to locate is a set of decals and the proper road runner for the wing.

Ah, yet another Superbird. Is that a Revell 1/24th scale? Looks just like the pink one I posted in the Santa's Sunday haul picture. Take a look Chris. You might get a kick out if it!

Attachment DeletedI know I have 2 of these kits, one is sealed (sorry) and the other has been built for a while. I will rummage thru and see if I can come up with something. there were 2 sets on the sheet, one with black lettering and one with white. do you have any idea what color you will be going with. no hurry,

Or red. So white would work best. How much y'all want for that sealed one?

With the vinyl top, lay down some masking tape , a wide strip down the centre, then slightly over lap another strip of tape each side, this will give you the vinyl texture, with the stitched seam on either side, then paint it black.. but please don't use a sharpie.

Looking forward to this. A friend of mine has a custom decal company, he could probably do the markings you need. Here is his website: www.speedwaydecals.com/

It already has the vinyl texture on the top. Im just not sure what paint or what to use...

If its already textured, I would mask off the area, and spray it flat. then top coat it with satin clear.
