Thinking red as I only have one other red car. i can do a wild two tone interior on this one. This was actually my first Prostreet car when I started building all the ones I have. It's been on the shelf for a long time. I just want to get paint on this one now that I found all the missing chrome and interior for it. Building my chop top pickup again, a car not pictured too. I have to get two kits done in time for a model show by me next month. I wanted the Challenger I am also working on but thinking it won't be done in time so maybe the chop top pickup and my 72 blue and white pickup. Good as both trucks have tons of mods and lots of fabrication. At least there won't be any others like them at the show!

From one indecisive color chooser to another though I'd pick a factory color & do the body stock looking Red with a white/red or Red with Black/red

Yep, thats the plan. Stock body with stock bumpers and a white / red two tone interior. Sprayed the paint this morning and it turned out decent. Had to ditch the blower. It did not work in the end with some fitment isuues. Went with a tunnel ram instead with the same bug catcher on it. Its more like the way I wanted this one to be.

Attachment Deletedcan you show me a chassis shot and a bed shot. would like to see how you did them... for future reference, of course. how does that 67 chassis fit under that car? any modification? I know it fits perfectly under the Z/16. thanks, Tubbs

Tubbs, I will send a picture tonight. I think the only two modifications were a bit of filing along the back edge of the chassis and some filing down of the driveshaft hump to settle down the interior tub. That's a nice 64 in the picture. I had originally had the rear wheel openings stock but a bit too much tire was hidden so I opened them up a little. This has been on the shelf for over 10 years. For the tubs I used the tubs off of a Revell 67 chevelle prostreet that was trashed. I cut open the bed on the El Camino and secured them with crazy glue from the bottom. Not perfect but it worked. Anyhow, look for pictures later tonight and thanks Chas
