This looks great so far. Seeing an old kit restored back to its original glory is always a lot of fun (It's fun when building and watching other people's projects). Excellent work with that body restoration, and engine looks great with that Fuel Injection setup, too. This is a Resin 72 Nova im working with. Looking at your screen handle that name says your a Chevy guy. This is the mill I cobbled together for this Nova. Look familiar?? Well that definitely looks good! Always great to see W-Blocks, and actually even if my biggest interest is early '60s Full Size cars (Impalas for example), '68-'72 Nova has been one of my favorites too. In fact as a kid I dreamed of about a red '69 Nova with black SS stripes. Great job with that W-Block! Finned valve covers look very good on it. And yes, I'm a Chevy guy for sure. I have a '60 Impala 2D HT as a Summer Cruiser and my daily driver is a '92 Chevy S10. Then I drive in Stock Eliminator with our '74 Malibu Classic. But honestly, I wouldn't mind owning other cars either...But I've followed my dad's example and so far there are Chevrolets only. Sorry a bit of Offtopic. I'm tuned in for more on the Challenger.

it will be coming soon. I have about 50 cars and trucks now in some form of build and only a couple that are completed. Im terrible about getting them done and I think I suffer terrible ADD or OCD or something I think. I have been scrambling to get paint on the bodies and get the tons of boxes sorted out because parts for these models are all over the place from my boys getting to them when they were young. I pull out a big box or two, sift through each smaller box, put parts in sorted piles, pull models off the shelf and add the parts to them. so I guess im building a fleet all at once. Right about the time I get close with one model something sidetracks me and I end up on another but im getting close to all of my old stuff being done so maybe when these are all built I can start just one at a time and finish it (I think???) Anyhow my plan is to foil the car and get the finishing touches on it soon. This is one of my junk pile to model car show projects I want to showcase. I love this car and cant wait to find more MPC Challenger ratty kits in the future that I can restore. The 70/74 Challengers and 70/74 Cudas are by far my favorite models. I think I have 8 Cudas in build up mode by only two Challengers so look out swap meets and ebay. I will find them cheap,Oh Yes, I will find them cheap!! LOL?

I have about 50 cars and trucks now in some form of build That sounds familiar, I have a huge pile of started kits and only a few that are unstarted. Sometimes I've thought about selling some of them, but the problem is that when it's a started kit, you won't get much money out of it so as a result.... I have sold nothing. I've traded some stuff away, though. Nowadays it looks like I'm having a bit of trouble finishing something, too. Maybe I should just build something really fast and simple to get something done. Though last time I tried that in summer 2014 with Monogram's '55 Chevy Street Machine. It was going to be a fast project that would not require much modifications since the kit is so simple and my plan was to finish it that summer. The result is that it's still in progress and I've done lots of modifications on that... Oh well, maybe some day it will be done. thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon
