Dad and I are gonna load up the cars again this year and normally in July we go to St. Paul to the fairgrounds up there. They have a great turnout (5,000+ cars) but we are changing things this year. We are going to the Car Craft show in Milwaukee. If any of you decide to come out I'll be the big guy next to the purple El Camino! I'll make sure to take more pics and share for everyone. Hopefully I can post one that inspires myself or others to build some great models.

We usually do 2-4 shine and shows a week. Never done the Summer Nat.s It's only 15 miles away, but we will be competing in the Hawk vintage races at Road America, that weekend.

Around here there seems to be a ton of weekly cruise ins the first 2 weeks of the month. I try to go to as many as I can but with one almost every day of the week it's impossible to hit them all. I like going to the Nats and other big shows like that because I get to see a lot of different cars that I don't see everyday. I like just about anything with wheels but a nice variety now and then is good.

Back at the hotel. Rain delayed our arrival and rushed our exit to the show. Normally we are there from about 9:00 until 4:00 but today it was more like 11:00-3:00. Some very cool cars though. Some of my favorites were the Truck with the engine out of a generator for a locomotive and the corvair with 3.8 litre supercharged engine. I'll have pics when I get home.

Some pretty cool cars - thanks for sharing. Had to do a double take on that last one, was that a Corvair? or Camaro? Anyways - almost thought that grill was built into the car, LOL! Then I noticed it's part of the trailer, Ha! Awesome!
