Mean, mean, mean! I owned a '68 Plymouth RR when I was in H.S. in the 70's. Orange with black stripes, fender mounted turn signal pods, 440 wedge hood. It had a tiny Hurst T-handle you could barely reach, black interior and the worst tan seats. I spray painted the seats with interior white (yea, that's better). The Cragars were rusted on the spokes, so I sanded them down and applied Moroso valve cover crackle paint. They were so cool, everyone wanted to buy them from me! I bought the car for $250 from a couple of kids who didn't like the A/C, so they pulled it - never realizing it helped maintain belt alignment. They'd thrash it around their backyard and then recharge the battery or let it motor cool down.
I went down to the Chrysler dealer and found a pulley on a bracket, took it home and beat it into submission and bolted it to the block so the idler puller would take up tension again. It smoked like crazy from bad valve seals, but it had 4:11 gears so nothing would touch me light to light. I sold it for $400 and a guitar amplifier. Boy was I dumb in the old days.
Any, sorry for the novel. Your model is awesome, keep up the good work!
