-WELL................ big-drooling-smiley-emoticon I'm partial to the high riders due to my 4 wheelin' liking..... needless to say look at MY REAL truck then tell me about it.... BUT anyway, to get this all right, I like 4x4 lifted or looking "lifted" 2x4 trucks, well...... The whole "Pro-Street" set up Dale has gotten through my elephant skin covered head on and has grown on me.... look at my '57 300, AND my Finkelstein A100, for "lowered" things..... BUT the 300 being my first "lowered" model, and rat finkelstein being a SERIOUSLY lowered. Other then that I normally keep things "stock" as when I was younger, I did all sorts of lowered and crazy stuff, and now I'm appreciating the "stock" appearance more, BUT.. I'm kinda found an in-between of the 2 extremes!!!!! BUT 4x4 trucks ought to be high, 2x4 trucks a little different OR how I've been shown! So...... BUT, I was told about the "Low & Slow" where does speed come in? impatient-smiley-emoticon As I am known for wild ass engine builds.....

Well, now that the Anniversary build is done, and had a couple of weeks off from the bench, i am back into this one. Painted and fitted the fuel cell, then thought about some air to feed this engine with. I needed some sort of air inlet, but don't want it to stand out, so it would need to be in the roof somewhere...... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon Wanting to keep with the theme, i found an old F40 body i had borrowed parts from before. These are the scoops in the tops of the doors.. And where they will live, from the inside. Now time to wait for them to dry, tomorrow i will start carving out the inlets from the outside.

Those look like a freakin awesome idea! Thanks buddy, how do they look from the outside then?? ( spent 2 hours tonight opening them up.) They need a good clean up, some putty and undercoat to smooth them out with yet.

I really do like how this one is coming along. I think it will be even better finished. What color are you thinking? Ferrari Red?

Thanks mate, yes, am going with the Ferrari red, with maybe a yellow panel with Ferrari dealership type of signage, but don't know where i will find that though, will have to see what i can come up with.

I cleaned up the roof vents, and made the Ferrari seats fit, and also made a partition, with a window in it, to separate the driver from the engine, also did a bit of bar work, just in case.

Thanks Tubbs and Iceman, i like to think outside the box, its a challenge, and fun, the bar work is only a hoop with cross brace so far, will put some more barwork back to the chassis when i get back to this build.

Well, after pushing this one aside for so long, and having a touch of builders block, i decided to get er done!! Went out and laid down some pure red Acrylic to go with the Ferrari theme. Stance is about perfect i think.
