Here's the ultimate paint shaker that you can make from things that you probably already own.

This is a great idea. Every bottle of paint I get the first thing I do is drop 3 or 4 BB's in it makes it a miniature rattle can. Mixes great. I have to do things like this being semi-immobile like I am.

I use the BBs also, but they still need shaking.

Your right they do. I have tried to think of many ways to make a shaker and I think the shaker in the video is the best idea I have seen. I can't get into my knife shop since I got in a wheelchair so I use what I can, but if I could get to my saber saw I would make one of those. The hand held battery operated stirrers work well and I have two of those but the shaker is the best.

I too take the same Testors paint he shown in the video.....I add a single 1/4 inch Stainless Steel Wrist Rocket BB, per bottle.. a bit bigger then the normal size BB's for gun use. These I use, don't stick in the corners like the little .177's do....(I used to use standard BB's too!
Gotto say tho, this is an awesome idea! I got all sorts of clamps! And I think I have a pretty BEAT jig saw too!

For my little paint tins I'm planning to stick a clamp on an old electric toothbrush, along with the bb's mentioned before it should work pretty well I think. I'll keep you posted on how it goes, but for now it's still just an idea in my head
