Old truck build of mine - Dodge Ram VTS w/ some mods. Ground out the thick grille insert, and replaced it with some honeycomb shaped lace from Michael's. Hood modified with the Revell AAR Cuda scoop. Paint is Createx Auto Air Iredecent Electric Blue w/ Diamont poly clearcoat. Think I stole those rims / tires off the Chezoom kit back in the day lol ! Suspension dropped as far as I could go without tubs. Filled the tail lights, and used some 90's Vette lenses frenched into the tailgate. Aftermarket aluminum trumpet exhaust tips. Box stock V-10 - I had toyed with using the 426ci "Cammer" engine from the Pro Street Super Bee kit, but didn't feel like adjusting the firewall, frame rails,.....etc Viper seats with Shelby decals from that old mid eighties Shelby Charger kit you could find everywhere for .99 back in 1993 !

Nice. That color pops. I hat color did you use as a base. My favorite part of it all is the rear end. Good job filling the lights and the placement of the new ones is spot on.

Thanks Ice ! The base coat was just flat white primer, inside AND out. (that diamont will eat some plastic if you don't get a barrier on both sides) The tail lights filled better than I had thought they would after I made the switch to Tamiya putty from old Squadron Green. The Squadron Green always shrank too much, and the Tamiya is a lot smoother to apply for me. Pinholes fixed with zap a gap

NICE work! Love the way you done the rear too. that turned out VERY well! I'd love to find a diesel to fit into this same truck, a Cumins to have the bed removed to be a dually, like a skill level 2 or higher model (they only made the dually a snap-tite kit!) BUT I have the dually bed!
VERY nicely done tho.....
I have read they're "Mopar" to use the new "Hellcat" Hemi in the Ram next year. that ought to make the ole VTS frown a bit...... The VTS was only 500 horse, the new Hellcat Hemi is 707 horse at the wheel 800 plus at the flywheel......BUT they did not announce that for sure yet for 2015 model year!

Beautiful build Duster. Lot of work. Gorgeous engine bay and paint job. Perfect wheels and stance. Looks real. Sure would like to see more of the interior. I have the same opinion of the Squadron. It sucks.

That is a very nicely customized Mopar truck mate, tail light treatment is superbly done and the paint really sets this baby off perfectly.
GREAT BUILD, can't wait to see more now.

Beautiful build Duster. This just might be the best late model truck build I have seen. Very sweet.

GREAT find......Duster, thats a nice model, so your gonna do another one? Can't wait to see how that turns out! Remember the 426 wedge from my current 64' Dodge build ? Seems like the perfect drop in for a Ram. Thinking of going with a Super Bee version, in yellow w/ the black bumble bee stripes. I'm not big on decals, BUT I have an old set of Fred Cady decals for the R/T , Super Bee, 500, stripes that I never used. Don't know what I'll do for the scoop, maybe make something out of scrap styrene. The original truck got the AAR Cuda scoop because I had an extra hood leftover from a build that never went right ! And the tail lights, well........ if I can get my hands on some old 69' Coronet Super Bee pieces, that might work. thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon Let the madness begin !!

I'm tryin to picture the scoop you could use.... on the dodge truck I mean, thats got a lotta hood to use for a scoop....ANY way you could get a set of the left and righties for on it? You know what I mean right? Those known as the "Ram Chargers, with the HUGE air cleaner on the engine that has that frame that sit around it when the hood was closed withthe dual scoops up top on each side? NOT sure that underside hood detail would work, BUT, the look on the exterior look some good I bet! All I can say is they thought that V-10 was the balls in that VTS, CAN'T imagine the 426 Wedge in it, has more HP then the V-10, and weighs a bunch less then it does too! GAWD that sounds like a whole buncha fun!
