Beautiful build JM. I really like the interior detail and gorgeous engine. You guys with your airbrushes are really making me think of how I can get mine out and start using it.

WELL done JM! Nicely done all around, even the engine and interior looks GREAT.....Altho, you got a "miss" on your engine when shes runnin' looks like a plug wire hoped off the plug! Could be the angle of the camera and car to make it look like that!

Thanks Hemi! I see what your talking about with the plug wire, its the angle of the camera that made it look like that.

Hey John, (I feel saying that I'm talkin to myself) errrr Anyway.....LOL
The engine in this kit, or well in this build of yours, did it come with this kit by chance?
I ask, as that engine under yer hood on a second glance looks an awful lot like a Mopar big block AKA 383 to a 440.....reasons why, the distributor cap location first and fore most, angled, to the passenger side.....THEN the intake, its a Cross Ram, thats a Mopar thing on big blocks for them, and then the exhaust manifolds are same deal Mopar big block, the exit pipe to them is up and over and the cylinder ports are below it, the painted carburetor linkage between them, followed by the painted fuel line set up in the intake, and then to that the coil placement, and last but not least location of the Alternator location, passenger side, with what looks like the belt system of a big block Mopar.....
I just had to ask! Its just got A LOT of Mopar spotting features going for it here!

I'm not John but I can tell you that it is a 383 Mopar motor and did come in the 49 Mercury kit as a custom or drag race engine choice only because I have several 49 Merc's in My stash of kits and parts Sorry didn't mean to hi-jack your thread

Thanks GP, you're correct. The engine did come with the kit, except its a 440. This was a great kit with a lot of parts.
