Not sure I understand this part of the contest...... the "Delivered" ones, to you, or have been sold already?
Mikes $25, is what his sold for?
Excuse my ignorance but to join in on something like this, I first have to understand it. Which is all I'm trying to do here.........

The delivered ones are the ones that I have received competed kits from. The $25 are the ones that will not be able to finish on time, so they donate the penalty fee.

Sort of. Here's a quick breakdown. And forgive me if it goes long.
Beast and I decide on a kit. We try to get something that will sell well on eBay as well as something the participants will have fun with. We do this invitation only and folks can decline if they want. Meaning folks who we see contribute often, build often, etc. beast and I buy the kits ourselves. Everyone gets the same kit. Member pays for the shipping cost for us to get the kit to their front door. We give everyone three months to build however the heck they want and then they need to send me the completed kit by the deadline. They pay for that shipping too. For those members that can't make the deadline, they have to donate the $25 penalty fee. Once I have all the completed kits, I list hem on eBay for 7-10 days at the same time. Kit that sells for the highest amount, owner wins the big prize package (reminds me I need to put it together this week). We take that amount plus the $25 fees and that's ends up being the total to the club forum funds that we use for different things.
We also have a members choice voting poll here for a smaller prize but that way everyone gets to vote on their favorite as well. That winner will get one kit also.
All in good fun and a great way to "donate to the club".

Just a stuped question, how is it a donation, if there is a fee?

1fee noun \ˈfē\
: an amount of money that must be paid
: an amount that is paid for work done by a doctor, lawyer, etc. a : a fixed charge b : a sum paid or charged for a service

I'm perfectly aware of the definitions of each of those words. Thanks.
It's one of the rules we applied so that folks would not just keep the kit for free. It's worked out so far. No complaints. And again, nobody is forced to participate. It's a penalty fee for not finishing. We don't keep the money, it gets donated to the club fund. It allows us to purchase more kits for contests like this.
Maybe bad choice of word but the concept is correct.

Goth House its simple, me and Ice don't buy models just to give them out. We all know what models cost now a days. Instead this contest is designed to make money for Jerrys Cherrys so that me and Ice can continue to offer prizes and prize packages for all of our contests ( not many sites out there give away the stuff me and Iceman do ). Now this contest is an "Invitation Only" contest we use the activity reports that we get and we monitor participation both in entering contests and voting in them, also who is commenting and helping his fellow builders. We then take that list and "Invite" them to enter this contest. The shipping fees and the penalty cost for not finishing are all laid out in the invite, anyone not wanting to take part simply says no, but once we have the answer we ship the kit( if you build it and ship it back it was free to you except for your shipping fees ) Like Ice said we then sell them individually on ebay and the one bringing in the most money is the winner. And they will receive ( out of me and Icemans pockets ) a prize package ( could be kits, tools, detail items, )Also we will have the "members Choice" voting were all members will vote their favorite. ( this winner will receive a new kit ) Then we take all the ebay money and the penalty money and we donate it into the JsCs fund which we use to buy prizes for future contests. You can also donate kits , tools, parts or money if you so desire using the Member Donation thread near the top of the home page.
