Appreciate that CC. This was the Worst Revell kit I have built. Really a nightmare especially the decals. I don't usually have problems with Revell but they did a terrible job making this one.

Thanks Ice. I don't know if I ever said "Thank You" for inviting me to join the forum. I'm having fun here and making friends and now I can show my work to someone other than my wife and my dog.

I usually don't have too much trouble with decals DeeCee. I do soak them in warm water instead of cold seems to work better. I don't usually use stupid Super Sol or Super Set. I can't seem to make that stuff work. I wanted to put carbon fiber on the scoop but the decals wouldn't lay down for squat. I even put them in the stupid Super Set bottle and soaked them until they got so soft they tore and they still wouldn't lay down.

The plumbing is crazy Hemi but it is politically correct. I researched these engines and they had the Spring nationals at Royal Purple Raceway here, 30 miles from my house, and I went and took pictures and stayed in the pit area. It was awesome. The modern day top fuel engines are huge and putting out 8,000 to 10,000 HP. I had the time of my life. I grew up with drag racing. Drag racing started in the 50's ya know and I was born in '51 so I remember 1/8 mile dirt strips and run anything you have with almost no regs but this was the first time I ever saw real top fuel dragsters run and it was just awesome. The raw power you experience when 2 10,000 HP machine floor it on the starting line at the same time can't be put into words.

The belts Dennis, look great for what they are! Any "Tension" on the pulleys? Yes/no?
