Dennis You may have to get a photobucket account (www.photobucket.com) and make up a BUNCH of difference loading pictures!
The build, NICE work on that engine detail!!!!! The whole thing looks insanely AWESOME! Love Mr. Purple People Eater! With a Chrome "grille" LOL
NICE work!

Hemi, I have a photobucket account but I'm new with it and haven't figured just how to use it all yet. Just as you can see from my post I haven't figured out how to post correctly yet. I appreciate your comments on the build. The engine was some work but it was fun and it makes the build I think. Everybody has a favorite thing they like to do on their builds. Mine is engines. I have a lot to learn about modeling overall but I'm better than I was a year ago. I am retired and disabled so I get to build some everyday. I would like to be riding my baby but it looks like I may never ride again. Breaks my heart.

If you go to I think the "Help" section, they have a posting on how to use photobucket.... You have the little "gear in the top right hand corner of the pic in photobucket, if you click that and then go to "Share link" it will give you another screen with the share links in it, and then click on the link, and it will turn yellow and then come back here and type this:
[ img ] without the spaces! then hit paste, (your share link) and then finish with [ / img ] again, without the spaces, and the picture will post as a full viewable picture!
So as you type, it would look like this:
[ img ] (your share link) [ / img ]
Naturally as I said, without ANY spaces, (I used the spaces so you could see what it look like!
I hope this helps!

Knarf, I sent your avatar to my wife and she loved it. I have over 600 models in my collection [and I plan to build them all} so it reminded me of her.

Dennis, The wire for the plugs is that fly fishing tubing? OHHHH BOY, John might have to look into some of this for the future! (I use a wire from Radio Shack that works and looks to lay pretty realistically...) BUT for racing units this looks GREAT!

I love the stuff John. Here's two places to get it. www.jsflyfishing.com www.americanflyfishing.com You want the Hareline brand and it comes in 3 sizes micro, midge and standard. You will use all 3 sizes but I use the midge the most. micro is the plug wire size, midge is great for injector and fuel lines and standard is the largest size. $1.80 for 3 ft.

Thanks Dennis! I have to look for it locally, and then if nothing else see what it cost me to get online (NOT something I have currently) but, seeing it here, I'll be adding that to the lengthening list of details!!

Skippy this was a seriously FUN build. Before I built it I googled how other modelers were building it and I must have looked at 50 other builds and the main thing I noticed was plain flames coming from the exhaust and NOBODY did anything with the engine. I really wanted my build on this car to be different from others and it is. Of course I had to go all out on the engine. I had a really hard time making the flames come out decent and tried many things and cleaned it off and started over but I think they came out OK in the end.
