Yep got this offa FB, it;s an airbrush cleaning bottle, not mine, this is the work of Martin Steenbeeke, and I quote "Martin Steenbeeke It basically is a bong. Just with a filter sealed to the top to catch particles and the water is to nullify the thinners. used airline from work because the center hole fits the airbrush snuggly." the top piece is a breather from a valve cover, here is a pic:

As quoted above, just got bored at work.
Works perfectly too. No mist or anything out of the lower breather holes. :-)

OK, so I'm sitting here doing decals, when it occurs to me I have been trying to get this letter right for the last 3 HOURS!!!!!!. so not kewl, so's I tell myself, Gothic ya need to stop for the night, yeah OK, so sitting in my chair having a Velveeta cheese samwhich, this is boring, lets make this lil gizmo, see how long it takes me to make my redkneck, lol version of it, so here it is. Things I used, didn't use the duct tape instead used 5 min, 2 part epoxy instead: This is how it looked 20 min later: used the salsa bowl I use to catch the boy next doors hamster to torture, nah man only kidding:::: It's his sister's hahahahahahahaha, whew, sometimes I kill myself Same type of filter I use on my redkneck indoor spray booth for under 30.00, a tut on that later if anybody is interested. same filter I use to make my Badger compressor run a heck of a lot quieter, used the epoxy to lay the surgical hose down to the bottom, and seal the hose inside, like a gasket Tested it about 15 min ago, works AWESOME.

...I got one too thats made from glass for thinner, HEAVY thinners that won't "attack" the glass as tho its plastic, that would leak pretty quick!
EDIT: Forgot to say, I don't "spray" much water based paint, acrylic or not, MOST my painting is the real deal, good old fashioned Oil Based enamels....I just don't care for the prep on water soluble paints and the finish at times, doesn't come out as planned....The oil based stuff, has yet to fail me 20 plus years later....
I DO use acrylic paint tho, for a lot of weather techniques I do, but not as a "base color" or any of that....
