Attachment DeletedHey guys this is my first attempt and some homemade headers and pipes. I'm kinda stuck about collectors any input welcomed. I'm thinking about getting some larger diameter aluminum tubing but that involves a 15 min trip to hobby store any other ideas out there ??

You might get the larger tubing and also some heat shrink tubing to conform around the individual pipes going into the collectors. They loom good JP!

Nice work there mate, i would use a larger diameter plastic tube, heat it a bit and then make it conform to the 4 pipes.

....I'm doing some serious Mopar headers that are made from Aluminum wire from Micheals Craft Stores, and then using heat shrink tubing as the collectors to make the Mopar "Tri-Y" headers....
Once you shirnk the tubing, and it leaves that "open" area, fill that with epoxy, and then paint, install (assemble) and your ready for the pipe if thats the route you intend to go... and your done!
That Aluminum wire, is in the floral section, and is relatively cheap, and it comes in a rather long roll of it....The stuff I got, is green, to go in BUT it is Aluminum, NOT the steel stuff (to difficult to work with as a exhaust system!)
I'll be sure to post pictures! Possibly even a video!
