So here it is. Ended up staying really mild with this one.
Testor's Inca Gold and clear coated.
Engine is the kit engine with Detail Master distributor.
Shaved the door handles, hood trim, and lettering from nose and tail gate. Also filled the seams in the front fenders.
'49 Cadillac sombrero wheel covers. (from the Revell '49 Mercury kit)
Lowered suspension. (by the way, after I accidentally shrunk the rear leaf springs trying to re-arch them, I bought the 2011 release of this kit for replacement springs and happy surprise, it comes with a dropped front axle and dropped rear springs as optional parts.)
Bare Metal Foiled the bed floor strips.
