Iceman: this is JUST what I was trying to accomplish my 1st time around - hardware store gold and then Boyds violete rose over top. It almost worked LOL. My One Coat Mystic Green is just like this, only deeper. Weird, but I'm not a Webster's when it comes to 60's Chevy interors - It looks like that driver's side dash area is a from an late 50's/early 60's Corvette??? Do I win a prize???

You got it Mitch. This was a custom I was working on. Someone asked fir the body so I sold it. Still have the rest of it just sitting there.
Testors transparent colors give this great effect. Prep is super important because all imperfections are noticeable after the transparent coats. Most other paint will cover the base color completely though.
