I like it Grandpa. Is this a replica of a 1:1 car? Also, is the Anderson Pontiac the dealer from Akron where Bill Knafel took over? Royal was in Michigan wasn't it? I guess I'm a little confused cause I've seen the Mystery Tornado (64 GTO) sponsored also by Knafel and driven by Arnie Beswick. Dan

Yes it was a picture of a 1to1 car but it was black and white so the colors are my interpretation. Anderson Pontiac was in Royal Oak, Michigan and that is where they started the Royal Bobcat editions. Arnie Beswick is a local boy and he still runs at Cordova Dragway ( whos owner was just elected as president of NHRA ) and I think you are correct about Knafel being a sponsor of the Mystery Tornado.
My 64 Lemans Gasser is also based on a picture I had but the script of the writing was different, more straight and not curved. Its on here right below this post

I used to have a 1:1 1966 gto myself back in the early 80's. Also had a 1966 nova gasser (straight axle car) I ran on the street. Sooooo.........ya got my attention!! Nice work. Great details and paint.
