Had to switch over to the pro-mod body due to wheel base issues but worked all day today cleaning off the stock grill and removing plastic so the stock grill will fit into the pro-mod body. It's 1:00 am still working on it should have more up wed morning late.

Hey ..... Oh my goodness This is a Beast !! I am lovin this ! Look at my Edsel Gasser and note that I had to move the rear wheel wells forward to make the wheel base. It looks great the way you are going, but if you really want the other body I can offer some help ! Let me know Buddy, but either way I am lovin this !!!!

WELL I'D LOVE TO USE THE OTHER BODY BUT IT'S TOO MUCH TOO WIDE AS WELL AS LONG, BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE OFFER. WHERE CAN I SEE THE EDSEL GASSER AND OH LET ME KNOW THAT YOUR WHEELS SHOWED UP OK.

ALSO I'M PRETTY SURE I CAN USE THE STOCK BELVE FRONT BUMPER. JUST GOTTA CUT THE REST OF THE PRO-MOD BUMPER OFF. NOT SURE ABOUT THE REAR ONE THOUGH BECAUSE THE STOCK BUMPER IS SOOOO WIDE I THINK IT MIGHT LOOK OUT OF CONTOUR SINCE I'D HAVE TO USE SO MUCH FILLER.

Hey SC , yes I got the tires today....they are great and I already have uses for both sets !! I just posted pics of the Edsel in Jerrys Cherrys Drag Cars , if you want I can show you a very easy way of doing it ( using both bodies ) and in the end you will have the right wheel base and the wheel openings will be bigger to match the wheel wells.

I posted a how to in the how to section. Thats all I had time to do for now , but I plan on finishing the work to that body step by step. Check it out. And if you decide to try it the stock body would be your base #1 and the pro mod body would be your donor #2 as I am sure the wheel well openings are larger on the modified for the tubs and tires. Good luck buddy. I will be adding more asap

Oh My... I believe after all the incredible work and fabrication, I'd have probably shot it like the original Christine Top Sportsman; however, I've seen a version of this car done in a weird multi-blue hue camo type paint scheme. Humorously, that battery pack twin fuel canister kit on the back of the frame ended up in my Pro-Street Nova's back seat area as a twin nitrous kit! I'm totally blown away by the gold foil work on the tub and chassis area. It's a monster!

Wow super detailed and I love the blue !! Man, is that your '64 GTO? I owned a '66 back in the day; converted the Pglide to a Turbo 400 and punched out the 389 to a 421, big lift hydraulic, some head work and a 12 bolt posi. Wish I still had it

Wow, I gotta say "well done!" If I remember, they came with a 350cu 4bbl and either a 4sp or a p-glide as well; maybe a turbo 350 3sp auto. If you'd (and you may have!) put GTO badges and the 389 by the front fenderwell a lot of cars would have either challenged you or backed way off! I loved the '65 year the best but around my neighborhood in Vienna Va, where Pat Donovan (reknown GTO racer) lived, ANY GTO worked fine. The '67's started to get heavy and by '68 of course the completely retooled Judge bodystyle appeared.

Don't forget to fashion a couple of NOS purge tubes (if'n you got funny gas); maybe from the lower intake or selenoids up through the screen where the windshield wipers usually go. You could just fashion one to come out beside the scoop on the hood, but that might be a pain trying to fish it through every time you take the hood o and off. What a unique and beautiful job on the chassis and tub color. You've got quite a work of art on your hands - including the dual harnesses on the bench seat!!!
