Very nice , what kind of putty do you prefer to use ? Depends on the issue. Generally Squadron White for major work and Tamiya Basic for small issues. For big areas I use Rage Gold. I have a few tubes of the Squadron White, but I don't think the new Squadron is going to make any of the Squadron products at all.

yea, I got a new tube of white and contacted them about it ( this was a while ago ) they said it was a new mix so I asked if they had any old stock I could buy and I got a real formal letter saying they were going to stop making putty all together

I tried the "new better" formula and it is a watery knock off of Tamiya. I did learn today that Squadron Putty was made by Bondo Co. and the EPA banned some chemical in it in 2018. GEEZ LOUIZE! No Model Master, Testers or Squadron Putty . . .Gonna be very hard to get used to water based stuff after using real model stuff for 60 years!!

Voc Laws caught up with NY state too. I cant get real lacquer thinner to save my life any more. The Squadron puttys been gone for 2 yrs here. I miss my metalizers too. That stuff was great. My family lived in Laurel on the Norhfork of L.I. for 400 years, we had a potato farm the entire time. NYS in 2015 restricted water use, dust from plowing and harvesting and finally use of fertilizer. I put the 600+ acres for sale. The N.Y.S. Land Trust demanded 210 acres be given to them to allow the sale. I talked with lawyers and gave all but 12 acres to the Jehovah witnesses with the inclusion that it be used as a religious camp /retreat and for Festivals. F NY and the Land Trust because as church owned there are now ZERO taxes paid to the State, County of Suffolk and the town of Riverhead. Sold the house and 12 acres to a developer and moved to Maine. 40 acres, fish pond new house and shop and the best thing 3400$ a year in taxes. 20 minutes to Portland and 30 minutes to a new hobby shop. One hour to New England Dragway and 3 circle tracks 25 minutes from me. Sit on my deck and shoot into the range we built and 2 neighbors. One has a 70 Chevelle Pro mod the other does Mustang restos. Got one more house in Oyster Bay N.Y. and I'll sell it when my older sister leave to a senior facility.

Thanks for the Info man, i'm planning to build the Monza, need to find out how that car was Which Monza? There is a medium blue 1975 Monza, a dark blue metallic 1976 Monza and 3 of the Red 1977 Monza that is the current revell one with the figures, first 2 version Jungle Jim raced and a more redder version that his brother Bob raced after J.J. was killed. I have info on them. Paul
