Oh man - one of my Holy Grail kits!!! You have some serious golden nuggets bud!! This kit is worth a couple hundred bucks!!
I want to build one so bad, but just cannot bring myself to paying that much. I am REALLY looking forward to how yours comes out and what you think of it.

I love it. Any idea I come up with will pale in comparison to this. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Coyotecrunch and DaveM , Thanks for your comments.
I too have been wanting to build this kit for a long time. I am a pretty big collector with about 500 kits and 200 parts kits but I don't do it to make money. Every kit I have I wish / plan to build someday ( retirement ? )
When I started my search for this kit I really wanted the car from the Original movie Mad Max ( this car is from the second movie Road Warrior ), I think one of the model companies needs to build this 1973 Ford Falcon in a stock / street version. With the cost of this kit, yes they would make a lot of money. I am actually disappointed in the kit. It has very little detail. It is curbside ( hood doesn't open, no motor and blower is just stuck threw a hole in the hood. Funny, that is the case with the real car also, the blower was not real ( functional ). For the Road Warrior movie they removed the trunk lid and part of the rear window frame so they could put two 55 gal drums in as fuel tanks. They also removed a lot of the interior detail. Again a company wouldnt have to build the movie car just give us a 2 in 1 Stock and Street version of the car!! Well honestly their are a few Aussie cars that I wish we could get. My plan for building this really hasnt changed from day one, except now I am pro streeting it. I plan to fix the rear window frame and replace the trunk lid an rear spoiler. I will be opening the hood and installing firewall, fender wells, shock towers and radiator support from a 1970 Ford Torino . Front half of the frame will be Torino while the back half will be one of the pro street kits. My motor will be the SOHC 427 with blower out of the 33 Willys kit and then I will try to detail the interior best I can in a more street fashion. Should be quite a build ! Keep watching and wish me luck !!

From what I can see it looks like it's going to have quite the aggressive look and stance. Thumbs up so far.

Mustang1989 - I will put a small PVC sleeve into the tires and epoxy them together on it.

Mustang1989 - I will put a small PVC sleeve into the tires and epoxy them together on it. That's a neat idea. Will the seam be pretty much gone with that technique? May have to use that one myself.

Like anything the first one teaches you all the things to do and not do on the ones after. Dont be afraid to practice with a set you dont need before trying the keepers !
