I never met him in person but Frank was a dear friend to me through this hobby. Many people joke about how you shouldn't believe what you read on Facebook but I am afraid this very tragic news is all too true. Frank was a very good person and I will surely miss him. The Fallen Brothers Log Truck was a project that he had worked on at my request to honor a fellow styrene brother. So poignant that he now holds top spot as a Fallen Brother.

Just heard about this and is such tragic news never met Frank but we done a lot of trading back and forth about models , Frank will be truly missed around here

Oh no. Oh man, Frank was such a great guy.
I only knew him on here as well, but we traded messages, I sent him some NASCAR stuff he bought, threw in a bunch of coffee cups that I seen he was using while he was building from his in progress builds.
Oh man, this is truly sad news.
I sure hope his family is doing ok, I will miss you knarf

I'm still in shock, I was speaking with him just a few days ago on facebook. A truly sad day for his sons and grandchild.

Great idea X2 - he was a great monster truck fan, in fact, if I remember right, he just posted a 24 hour monster truck build a couple weeks ago. Jesse, does it say on Facebook what happened? |

X2 - he was a great monster truck fan, in fact, if I remember right, he just posted a 24 hour monster truck build a couple weeks ago. Jesse, does it say on Facebook what happened? I have not seen anything that says what happened. When I do I'll let you know. |

Frank was a true friend to me in here. We swapped stories and models and parts a lot. He was one of the first ones I made friends with in here. I will miss him terribly.

Thanks Jesse, man it sure was sudden, I just wonder what happened. I hope he did not have any pain, such a shock
I sent Frank a rest in pace wish, online, kind of fitting I thought, as I only knew him online.
He will be missed......

I think the idea of a memorial build is a great idea. Frank and I worked a Christmas parts swap last year and planned to do a Christmas build swap this coming year. I will continue to hold that idea close to my heart. I have offered my help to his family. I also know Frank still had many kits I sent him that I will offer to "buy back". I'm sure the family was not prepared to face this lost emotionally or financially.

Very sad news indeed. Frank just joined the forum that I am the admin. of. He immediately jumped right in and posted a model. He also entered our Model of the Month contest. Voting is taking place as I type this. Wow. What a reality check. You never know what a day is going to bring. I may suspend the voting and put his model up on the top of our page. Sad, sad, news.

One of the monster truck groups has his recent Bronco build as the banner. I'm sure he is proud of it. Nacho, I think he would want the voting to be fair but even the thought is an honor.

I am at work , reading this for the first time. I am both shocked and saddened . What could have happened?

I just noticed this on his Facebook page this morning Frank was a really good guy. I never had the opportunity to meet him in person but he was always so nice and positive. I'm also interested in a monster truck build I think he would have really liked that.
