The Pegasus "Phat Daddy's" look a lot like the wheels in the first pic. Really liking that one. Edit: added pic and dimensions. For reference, measurements are, 1.118" O.D. and .495" wide

Thanks Tom and Mike. As I've continued my research and checked my parts...wait not MY parts but resin & spare parts I have...yeah.......(nervous laugh). I've narrowed it down to a choice of 3 engines. Although the kit has a very nice engine, I'm going to challenge myself and go for a more true pro touring one. I'm sure I'll need to modify the frame and the engine bay too. Here's a pic of the options. The third one is an LS1 engine from an old corvette kit.

Go the Fat daddy's mate, they fit perfectly. I think i narrowed the fronts by the width of 1 row of tread.

First coat of paint on the body. It's a Orchid Gray Metallic. I am a bit concerned as it's not as glossy as I hoped. Any tips? My initial plan was to leave it all silver with some small black accents. But after I kept looking at different pictures, I will be going with a two tone. I imagine there will be a few two tone builds. I tested out three colors (ignore the orange peel). From left to right: Harbor Blue, Belmont Blue & Neptune Green (all metallic colors) Will be going with the Harbor Blue on the left.

Latly it seems more cars (and Harley Davidson motorcycles) have a subdued color. I sight the late "Crow" on Street Outlaws as an example). Of course you can't go wrong with a two tone on this one either! I painted mine two tone today but im having laptop issues again and cant load them.

Thanks John, Alan and Tom. Sprayed Platinum gray over it and there is a better look. Added the blue as well. Question for those of you that wet sand. Do you do it soon or let it gas out a few days?

Looks great Ice! I like that color combo. What kind of paints did you use?

I like to let it gas out a few days. BUT, 24 hours is usually enough. To me, the more time you can allow it to harden, the better. Nothing worse than wet sanding through to the primer at times

Definatly let it gas out! The longer the better. Couple of days to a week should be good depending on the type paint, temp and humitity.

Jesse, Tom, Alan, Mike and Frank - thank you all for your comments and tips. It's sitting to the side for now to give it enough time to gas out. I do have a tub ready for it in case the wet sanding doesn't work out.

I have never let a paint job gas out yet, I would put a clear coat over it, as silver does not wet sand well, then let it set over night, light wet sand, then more clear coat, I find this method makes the final polish very easy.
Looking real good too by the way, I like those colors.
