ok, got some progress to share. chose my colors finally and decided how to split them up in the interior. much like Jesse, i wasn't sure how to tape the door panels off effectively so i brush painted them.. got real lucky with my custom mix paint road-rage-smiley-emoticon i love that this kit came with dash decals. also in this shot is a comparison between the body color and the custom mix interior color, the dash top is sprayed and the steering wheel is brushed. foreground is the 409 i'm using. i'm also building the kit engine for the garage dio here's the hood sprayed body color and i finally made up my mind and bit the bullet enjoy

Dang, that custom mixed color is almost perfect, just enough different to be believable that the other parts are a different material. Well done Frank!

THAT INTERIOR IS sweet MATE, BUT I AM GLAD I DIDN'T ENTER THIS BUILD, LOOKS LIKE MOST OF THE KITS HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE CHASSIS STAYING TOGETHER... (I typed all this in caps before i looked at it, not changing it now..) forehead-slap-smiley-emoticon

Your rear springs are upside down and on the wrong sides lol. Good thing you changed the rear to match the front. Looking great Frank!

been workin on motor mounts for this one, tryion to decide how low to mount the engine as it pertains to cutting.not cutting the hood. if i do cut, i'll use this scoop it's got one glue spot tho enjoy

Not sure how high you. I that need to end up making the scoop but what if you sand it down last the glue mark? Or paint it after sanding? Just a thought.
