i'm gonna post this wip thread here at the request of Iceman and DC. i must warn that this will likely be one of those long, drawn out builds...at least until Dec 31 which is the due date. the theme this year is "sleeperball" build any sleeper you think could win and this is what i come up with. started with this first mock-up, didn't like the ride height that's better kit supplied chassis, this won't do that's a little better now whatever will i do for power?? i know, let's "borrow" an engine from this oh hell, let's take the rearend too that seems alittle too long, this is better a little wide, let's narrow it that's better. how's she sit now? still too high i think there that's much better what about engine placement you ask? like so here's a couple a different but same mock-up motor at this point i realized the powertrain was still too long so it moved to the side of the bench to wait for inspiration to strike. it has struck but other builds have taken precedent. stay tuned

Very nice!! I like it. I have this kit and have always thought of doing a roach coach. A taco truck...mmmm tacos? Ha! But this is looking great, Frank.

FedEx huh? Nice! I like it. I'll definitely use them more if they deliver in this. Wouldn't it be cool you see this.....well you hear this drive up to your front door and they bring you a box with your recent model kit haul? That would be cool! Every time!

There's an idea for the club MOTM theme..... smileyCACETROO_zps365bb43e JC's - MOTM, when it Absolutely, Positively, has to be the Best Model ever built, for the Month.... smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f Then have the month's winner's prize delivered in a box with this logo on it - Ha!

i feel your pain Frank. if it's any consolation, it looks really good. I have been down that poor planning path a few times. maybe the best thing is to not put it away, leave it on the bench as it is and start a little quickie build and let your mind settle a bit. you will get it, just may need a slight break.

Don't give up. It needs a bit of work but I think you'll get it done. A break every once in a while does help though.
