Thank Dal and Alan. Great minds... While waiting for the wife to get ready, I put the plugs in.

Nice looking engine work ! Did you have to pin those pulleys or is CA holding them fast ? I've tried component pulleys before and the belt wound up putting enough pressure on them that they popped off.

Thank Mike - These don't have pins although i have some that do and they work a lot better and end up sturdier. These had a very short pin so I drilled a hole and used a little bit of glue as well. On the belt, I was lucky to find one that fit just right cuz I know what you mean about them being pulled off. I didn't want my alternator flying off with the small weak bracket it has. If you run into that problem, cut the belt. Glue on tip at the bottom of one of the pulleys where you cant see. then wrap it into place only as tight as you can/want and glue the other end, I've done that before. lost too many pulleys trying to make them belts tight.
Thank you very much Frank. I appreciate it.

Kidding - just kidding! In all seriousness, this is really shaping up nicely! I think I need to drive down and we can have a pow wow at the pool, cooler full of beers, and you can train me to use those itsy bitsy spark plug wire PE holders - that engine is Smokin man!!!!!!!!
