Alright everyone. I knows it's the middle of 2015 still but, just like last year, we want to make sure everyone can plan out some builds for next year. So before we start a poll on what to do next year, we want to hear from you. This doesn't guarantee that it will get a spot but some pretty crazy ideas get lots of votes sometimes. And it just has to be in the top 12.
What themes do you want to see for MOTM? Also what don't you want to see? Tired of he spooky build? Patriotic build? Xmas build? etc. you tell us.

For the January Annual American Graffiti build I was thinking a remake ! The writers have rewritten the script and made the setting 2016. So you get to pick a a star from the movie and build and tell us what he would be driving today . Maybe John is driving a yellow pro mod Mustang maybe Falfa is driving "Murder Nova" maybe Steve is driving a low rider maybe the blond is driving a white viper . You pick the star you build the car and you tell the story !!

I like Graffiti idea, as there is only so many cars in the original movie.
As for Patriotic, I like doing the spangled paint jobs, but not being USA based, there is only so many
that I need on the shelf I suppose. Spooky build, done 1, and looking forward to the next one,
Christmas build, not interested personally. . I like "DIFFERENT", but I think that is obvious,
so as you can tell by the amount I enter into, I will build ALMOST anything and everything,
I see the hot wheels build got some good response in the Anniversary vote, so that would be a good subject I think.

I like it. Do we want to keep January as American Graffiti MOTM or do we wait and see if it gets voted top 12? Or do we move it to another month? or....?

Why not leave it as the first one off the rank, it is what you guys have based this place around. ps, I did a big edit on my previous post too mate, you beat my by 1 minute.  |

I think it should stay at January to kick off the year but I'm fine with any change ups we make. What ever happened to that poll for anniversary builds ? I think we covered the next six years ! Ha ha

The music themed build I suggested before would make a good theme. It opens up a lot of possibilities such as the car being in the song title, music videos or even the bands transport.
Emergency/rescue vehicles might be fun

I think it would be fun for a monster truck moth or just a truck build with the option for monster trucks in it next year I think there's some interest in one. And possibly a Nascar moth

Am liking everything spoken here For sure I agree with Mike, a nascar and monster truck motm would be cool - a ton of guys here do some awesome work in these fields. And the Hot Wheels thing I am really digging as well |

Another class that seems to have some interest, (at least for me anyways - selfish I know - BAD CC!!!), but maybe NHRA? Funny cars, pro stock, dragsters, etcetera - etcetera - etcetera....  |

Big scale sounds fun to me as well would definitely have to be in one of the months with 31 days though lol and NHRA cars sounds really fun as well

i'm liking the sound of all suggestions so far however, i am particularly fond of the hot wheels and music themed builds. i would also consider the nascar and monster truck builds and i have a funnycar idea brewin  |

I'd go for the Big scale, NHRA, NASCAR and maybe the monster truck or even a 4X4 ( doesn't have to be a truck either ) build smiley-greet016

Had more ideas, how about a kids first car/learner car, cars we built for celebrities(our own ideas), over the top builds/show cars, hunting/4 wheeling/off road vehicles and foreign cars

Oh the hunting one is a new one. I'd vote on that one for sure.
We need more ideas, if possible, guys. Anything you can think of. The more the merrier. I'll throw in some of the old themes once I put up the poll.

2 more great choices. I'll make sure those are in there.
Any feedback on the spooky, xmas, "look what I got for xmas" and patriotic builds? We only had 3 entries for patriotic this year. May be one that we leave out next year.
Or should I just let the votes decide??
January is reserved for AG MOTM every year. Beast will just add a twist every year.

I liked the spooky builds, even though I did not get in that one), the builds were really awesome.
The xmas, (of which I just completed a month or so ago - LOL), was pretty neat, just because you had no idea what you were gonna get
The Patriotic I liked as well, but since we are a worldwide club, maybe not, and like you said, there was just a few in it this year
Guess maybe let the votes do the talkin.... smiley-confused005

I don't know if we are still throwing ideas out there but I had a couple today and wanted to share. First was "Mini Truckin". There is/was a magazine dedicated to Mini Trucks and they featured trucks like S-10s, Rangers, Rancheros, and El Caminos. Maybe a Mini Truck theme? The other was Modern Muscle. Current gen Camaro, Mustang, Challenger, 04-06 GTO, and maybe even some "coulda, woulda, shoulda" like a modern day Cuda if Plymouth stuck around. Just a couple ideas, I understand that with the make and model of the cars I listed we may be limited but I really think with the great builders we have here there will be some fantastic builds.
