I'm sure everybody has a holy grail kit the want to find so I thought I'd start a thread on the subject. For myself it's anything VW but particulary the AMT scirocco road car kit and for non VW kits it's the Esci ford transit, but with the value of them this side of the pond it's not likely to happen any time soon. I'm interested to see what other peoples 'Holy Grail' kit is. Who knows we might even be able to help each other beat Tom Hanks/Indiana Jones and find out holy grails.

I've only got two Holy Grails; AMT 1965 Mustang 2+2 Fastback with box and a MPC 1970 Mustang Fastback with box big-drooling-smiley-emoticon

One of my holy grail kits has turned up on ebay this week. Its the esci ford transit and hopefully it will be mine. Unfortunately for me its well listed so anyone can find it. Now I just have to decide how many days I can eat ramen for.

I can't afford my holy grail, but it was one of those kits I built as a kid that left an impression.
Revell - Mickey Thompson's Revelleader Pontiac Grand Am Funny Car 1/16th.
