Great job! That engine looks fantastic between the rails of that beast. The sleigh looks so soft, makes me want to lay on it and take a nap( if I was 1/25 scale lol).

Thanks all, I really appreciate it. I learned a lot from it and that's what counts. I worked my butt off on it and I would have liked to have had some things come out better, but I feel that way about everything I build so...........

-I'm in this race AND I'm still fascinated with the damned silver and gold Allyson engine..............(Engine building/detailing gets me EVERY time.... my favorite part of the model.....
This one is insane, BUT thats says something to me.. I'm NOT alone in that Insane part of building......
GREAT job Dennis, you, know that engine in itself, is a damned model to be worthy of a display on its own!

Thanks John. I have a funny car model that has that same engine in it. I'll build it different for that.

What a magnificent piece of work Dennis, superbly detailed engine, and you learnt to sew too. That sleigh looks so much better now it is a bit smaller too mate, beer keg fuel tanks are a great touch , and ol' Bobble head him self, .......love it all mate. SUPERB!!!

The whole build tho turned out GREAT Dennis! Looks GREAT! The fuzzy Sleigh body is what makes it!
You know... come to think of it, man this is like a "Ed Roth" OR Tom Daniels build with both of us! We made out "own" Santy Sleigh!!!!!!!
Speaking of that.....Yours almost falls into the "Zinger" types!!!!!! And I mean thast in a good way, Small frame, and stance, with a LARGE engine.....If you had added HUGE rear tires and rims, it be a Christmas Zinger!

I just went and looked at it and it looks like a cool kit, If you need any reference pics I have a friend that seems to know everything about the old brit bikes. If I remember rightly thats one of the most sought after bikes in the Uk and generally a real one is £80,000 plus unless its wrecked in which case they're only 25,000(lol). One of the guys that used to work at the highland Park distillery rode one as his daily bike up until the mid 80's. It was sort of a origional/ratty unrestored bike but when he retired it paid for his house and it was a NICE house. They also used one on Top Gear Uk in the car/bike/train race. One of my sister has a Triumph tiger cub that the friend has just restored for her last year along with a real mini(not that BMW monstrosity, horrid cars to work on and rustier than the old ones) that is my next 1/1 project.

Stitch I have only seen one real Vincent in my life. I was parked outside a huge motorcycle salvage yard a long time ago and when I came out the owner was admiring my Harley, I had a really nice one then, and he said he wanted to show me something. He took me to his office, I couldn't imagine what would be in his office, it turned out to be a huge office room and sitting around the walls were Henderson fours, Harley Knuckleheads, Ariels, and a vincent Black Shadow. All mint condition and running. He said he was in Japan and in Japan you are only allowed to own one vehicle, and a Doctor he met had to sell the Vincent so he could buy another vehicle. This guy bought the Vincent on the spot and shipped it home.
