What was the engine they used in this one? I can't make it out to see what sort of power it has under all that red sheet plastic(metal)......

I will for sure be following this build AK - I have, I think like 3 of these kits. I was gonna build one for this contest myself, but since I am so behind on everything, gonna just enjoy everyone's builds instead. I will be anxious to see what you think of this kit, how it goes together, etc.

Not getting very creative like some of the competion, just moving the engine and seat forward so I can add a sack full of toys behind ol Saint Nick.

Sweet AK! I've seen your work and I know this will be really cool. I like your idea. Don't fret too much about how much creativity you are putting into it. Remember that sometimes less can be more. I'm definitely watching this. popcorn-and-drink-smiley-emoticon

The pencil mark is where this will be cut then I'll move this panel forward along with the seat to make room for Santa's bag of toys! I also shorted the nose section to move the engine forward, but neglected to get a picture of that. I got it painted and mounted the rearend and tracks. Engine is painted and glued in at it's new location. Frame had to be modified slightly to install the engine here, but it fits perfectly! Originally the front edge of the engine block was even with the seam where the nose section fit the rest of the body. Fuel lines were shorted and the battery installed. More to come soon.

Looking awesome AK - were those fuel lines part of the original kit, or are they your addition?

Looking awesome AK - were those fuel lines part of the original kit, or are they your addition? Thanks guys. Instructions are rather vage and it seems that some of the locating holes are over sized, but it goes together acceptably well and looks pretty good sitting on the work bench. Fuel lines are molded in with the fuel tank. Since I moved the engine forward, I had to shorten them and I took the liberty of adding the "rubber" sections to allow for some flexing as the fat man races over the snow!

-You know all the damned "tracks" you guys will have me jonesin' to get back to work on my Doomz Day monster truck.....(Its already bad enough with me) big-drooling-smiley-emoticon over all the damned tracked machines being built for MOTM!
And really? I like wheels, Tracks were only an after thought to my Monster Truck, NOW however they seem to be popping up EVERYWHERE. maybe its a sign from above?
AK, you know this is gonna be one AWESOME ride, just 'cause its tracked power......... praising-the-lord-smiley-emoticon
Damn tracks anyway, catches me every time! NICE work AK! Never thought I had a "track attachment" complex! Guess its beginning to show itself!
GREAT work!
