I am in on this one guys, starting out with a seconds, partly built and painted Speed Wagon. It will be a combination of red/black paint, with a blood theme. Have opened the doors and in the process of opening the rear aswell. A big "Z' in the chassis is next on the list, and who knows what else will happen. First thing was to strip it of its blue paint, cheers,

Very productive day today, it was Fathers day here in OZ, my son said "what do you want to do?," Nothing was my answer, lets get some modeling done !! I toyed around with this one and Adam sprayed his Viper. Zed the chassis, cut the whole back out of it, then filled in the rear window, still got the sides to do yet, and then hinged the suicide doors and the rear door. Then, something to go along with the "blood" theme, i separated the front and rear guards from the side board. Next, i played around with the files, and before i knew it, (about 2 hours actually), i had something DIFFERENT!! The left one is the back of the rear guard, right one is the back of the front guard, these will be painted a deep red and look like blood drops. smileyCACETROO_zps365bb43e Will see what else comes to mind, watch this space.

Thanks Doc and Skip, yeah, the fenders were something that just popped into my head from nowhere, so i ran with it, trying to get as many Blood ideas into it as i can. Well. last night i spent 2 hours on 1 door trim, built it out to cover the hinges, bugger me, it would not close. it would hit the floor tub where i have channeled everything up. So, i had to separate the trim and play around for what seemed like all night, here is where it all ended up. now, to see if i can make the other one look the same, and work out an interior theme...... smileyCACETROO_zps365bb43e

Thank you guys HEAPS!!, i have said before, this place has put the fun back into modeling. Last night, for some reason i decided to add something to the paint, big mistake. Could look OK, but not really feeling it though. So, tonight, i sanded it back and started it again, here is a little sampler of what might or might not find it self elsewhere. Needs flattening and more clear yet though. Thanks again for the compliments guys.

I like the idea, Dale. I just think it's out of scale. looks more like running paint than blood. maybe smaller runs, if that makes sense.

Must agree with you Iceman, was struggling with what i wanted to do, and i'm not sure i want to do it a third time though. I'll see how the week-end pans out, as we are running out of time.

perhaps you could try dipping a really small gauge wire in the red paint so that it has a small drop on it and let it drop onto the part while in the vertical position to get the actual "blood drops" effect. possibly even different size wires for different size drops. just a thought thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon
