Thank you sir it's probably going to be a couple weeks before I get to do anymore building. .....my mom is having some health issues and need to help her get through them before I worry about building models. I'm still going to be around but just not building for a few weeks.

So I can't figure out how to cut the roof line down to match up with the body I have a bad feeling that it's never going to look right with the roof I'm trying to use. So I figure I'm going to just use my donor body and just try my hands at some kind of tricked out paint job on it

I would take it the way you have it in the first pic with it rubber banded on top, I would draw around the roof edge with marker. Remove the wagon roof and then using my drumal with saw blade cut out as much as possible. then switch to a drum sander and get it right down to the lines. Then put the roof under the body and bring it in from underneath as you get closer to the roof heights matching up the , the bottom edges that you traced around should be getting tight on the inside of the body. Then by sanding , trimming you should be able to get the roof tops to line up as well as bringing that bottom edge of the roof windows up with the top of the fenders.Its just a thought as thats what I would do, then fill in with a little putty.

What's got me hung up there's roof line's on the wagon roof and I'm not really sure how to trim it down with keeping them lines. Because what's hanging me up the roof it just a little wider on both side's. I'm thinking about just cutting a section out of the center of the roof and just doing the same to the glass and painting the back glass black to hide the cuts?

Oh I wouldnt want to mess up all that cool clear glass and roof glass. That seems like a lot of work. I would mark a center line on the nova top middle of windshield and I would do the same on the wagon roof. Once i had the length cut and it trimmed out so I could slide in from underneath (see last post) I would then mark and sand away with drumel and drum sander just the sides of the roof above the doors. I would taper it back from the top corners of windshield back to the pillar behind the door . Just a thought.

If you do narrow the whole roof section, just get some acetate from a blister packaging or a hobby store and make new windows. Both the windows in my Heep MOTM were made from a toy package blister.

Mike that sure looks good, a VERY interesting why you made that "wagon' happen, what was the donor to/from to get the "wagon" rear portion? I myself, wantto make something like this only a '70 Dodge Coronet.....4 DOOR!

It came from a 1965 Lincoln continental kit. Buy the box its a rag top but they give you the option to turn that car in to a wagon.
