primer was wet sanded this morning, and my first color coat is on. also have the interior bits and pieces painted. body is in the dehydrator as I type, hope to do more paint work tomorrow |

got a lot done between yesterday and a few hours today, hope you like  a little BMF and some black wash, and we have a dash,  seats done with emblems BMF'd  most of the interior done, floor is flocked,  base coat of inca gold,  masked off and second color is on [diamond dust silver]  and the last color is flaming orange,  gotta let it gas out, wet sand it, then bury it in clear and buff the daylights out of it. also have a PE set coming for it. next is engine build............. |

That will look killer mate. Have you got any clear over it, or are you going to wet sand the colors??
Personally, i would make sure there is some clear over it, as wet sanding those colors could lead to a disaster, we don't another one going in the soup.
That interior looks great too.

No clear yet, only need to wet sand a few spots in the silver, got some tape residue in it cause I am impatient, but it should clean up ok, then I will clear it with 5 or 6 coats.

Nice Job...
Interior looks killer , really like the dash and gauges , and the BMF on the seats GREAT..
Color is awesome -- nice paint and color combo..A few coats of clear and it should really P O P...
Like the red carpet also...Very nice work..

thanks all interior is pretty well done, glued the steering wheel into it a few minutes ago. had to re-paint the silver, but I think I managed it ok, touched up a few spots of the gold, and managed to lay 6 coats of clear on it tonight. it's in the dehydrator now so I can sand and polish tomorrow after work if time allows. during body prep, I sanded off the engine badges and super sport script, knowing full well the layers of paint would cover them up, but as I mentioned earlier, I have a PE set coming for it so those details will still be there in the end. I am currently building a 406 small block for it, complete with aluminum heads and intake, will add a dizzy and hopefully some fuel lines. still scratching my head on how to detail the chassis, but I am sure it'll come to me eventually. stay tuned......... |

making progress...finally. got the motor wired up and mostly together, and have the body almost bmf'd completely [took a break for lunch, lol] hope to have some pic's up later.
