recently got this from Iceman and since the 60's build is done i'm gonna do a quick n simple build for pure fun as a refresher. so as i'm sure you can geuss, this won't be done stock i'm still workin out some of the details but first is the wheels/stance. i've got 2 sets of wheels here and while i do like one over the other, i'm still undecided so i'm askin for public opinion set 1 (the fronts are from a John Force diecast and the rears are from a nascar diecast) set 2 (these are all from a Hotwheels and i have no recollection of which one) keep in mind that regardless of which set i use this will NOT be the final stance. the front wheelwells have already been sanded to fit but the back not yet. the 2 different rears are different diameters.

I'm curious how this will turn out. I was looking at it myself for an old garage diorama been working on.
I think the "Hot Wheels" are a little too "Hot Wheels". Maybe go with something that's a miniature of real wheels like the John Force.

ok guys, i scrounged up a couple more sets to check out with the fenderwells sanded out for stance. 1 and 2 are the same as before and 3,4 and 5 are different 1 2 3 4 5 so now we have 5 choices to decide from..."what say you?"

i have oodles and oodles of hot wheels/matchbox cars Iceman the wheels you like in particular originated on a gold plated 58 chevy nascar "stock rod" made by Racing Champions. additionally set 5 came from a Racing Champions "stock rod" as well

well we've hit a snag with this one, i had decided to go with number 5 but can't find them i have all the rest tho my 2nd choice is number 3 since this will actually be a peddle car with peddles, linkage, rear axle shaped like a crankshaft...we all know what i mean

LOL, you will find them mate, probably half way through one of the next 2 builds, that's usually when my bits come out of hiding.
