ok, so i was tryin to figure out a good way to get rust streaks/stains as would happen from years of sitting in the weather. a friend on facebook suggested a controlled drip of water and i came up with this

so then after a week of recycling the same rusty water, it now looks like this


in this pic we see the result of a drip that was dripping at the very top of the Apillar and then running down the doorjam from the bottom of the Apillar

it has really brought out the natural orange color of the iron
