Hey guys, just wanted to throw this information out there... I had previously bought 2 K&N air filters from them for some kits, and as im sure you seen I was very pleased with the quality and price and what not. Anyway, I returned to the same auction page to buy some more. What I was sent was sets of completely different, oblong filters with no K&N badging or anything. After confronting the seller at B-N-L I was told that the mix-up was my fault, even though the auction STATES and SHOWS the previous filter style. So now I'm wrapped up in a battle with this guy over something as simple as false advertising on his end. So I say, BEWARE of B-N-L Resins... You may not get what you wanted, or any reasonable solution there after. ::EDIT:: The battle continues... Absolute refusal to resolve the matter, keeps insisting it was a purchasing mistake on my end. But, here I show you the auctions and products received. First set   Second set, bought from the same auction page.   I apologize if this seems out of proportion for such a small mistake, but it's the principle of it all. And the absolute refusing to work anything out on the seller's part really shows how B-N-L does business. It's a shame... |

Doesn't make much sense to me. For what he charges why wouldn't he just send the proper filters, that you obviously bought and paid for. I mean its 3 dollars, I don't see why he doesn't just eat it to make things right with you.

I also have those uploaded into my photobucket. They are identical. That's why its so unfortunate. The quality of product is good, but the fact he's willing to send the wrong product and sweep it under the rug burn's his business principle beneath him.

You need to lighten up and order the right ones. I was burned by Un-Reliable Resins for over $70 and never received a thing.

I understand you feel ripped off, bud, but for a few dollars, I think you're using up a lot more energy than you really should. And I know you're thinking, "it's the principal!" You're right. It is. The rest of us will keep this seller in mind to make sure the same doesn't happen to us. Maybe we'll think twice before buying something from him. If it's something you have to do something about, open a case with eBay. Hope it all works out. |

In a few days after everything is settled via eBay, just cover shipping and you can have them. |

The problem is that if he is willing to do this for a $3item he will probably do it for more expensive items as well.
I agree with the not sweeping it under the rug idea. There are plenty of reputable resin casters around.

It is unfortunate that stuff like this happens and were as it may have started as a simple mistake, the way in which it was handled probably could have been better. I dont buy a lot of resin because my skin is allergic and I cant do all of the cleaning , sanding and filing that most resin requires. I do how ever use some small parts and I have never had a problem with BNL ! Always high quality , shipped fast and almost no clean up. I would not hesitate to use them again.
With that said, this is what this thread is about it is to educate and warn others of problems out there in the hobby so that we all dont fall pray. We dont have to get so excited or even turn it into and argument. A discussion will do just nicely, remember the idea behind JsCs is to be drama free and thats what we want. A bunch of great builders sharing ideas and helping each other out.

....just recently made a purchase from B-N-L Resins and the shipment was within 3 days and I bought from his website....Items, as stated, and very clean and detailed items (I must say) I can't "purchase" as easily off Ebay as some (I don't have a Paypal account due to them, not liking my Debit card type....
But thats OK, if they can take a money order as payment, (seller) I'm good with it!
