Half the chassis is done for tonight. Ill start mocking up the rear tomorrow night. Waiting on soo many parts only so far I can get for now  |

Looking good. Great stance. I've seen the wheels. How well casted are they? Are they clean and straight? Are the sleeves resin also?

The wheels are incredible some of the best casting I have ever seen. Very straight Extremly low amount of cleanup and the sleeve is aluminum the tires are from tamiya. At $20 a set I would normally have would shyed away but I still want more and would pay 30 a set if I had to. They are little more better scaled for 1/24 but I got this set specificly for this car and it looks sexy as hell even out of scale

Does the aluminum wheel have lips on the ends to hold the rim in place or how does that work? And finally (sorry for all the questions), what size would they be in 1:1? They look pretty big. He also offers aluminum or resin sleeves As for scale here is what he posted Some info on the aluminum sleeves- FRONT (.411 wide) = In 1/24 [9.86 wide], in 1/25 [10.2 wide] REAR (.491 wide) = In 1/24 [11.78 wide], in 1/25 [12.2 wide] DIAMETER of each (.914) = In 1/24 [21.9 inch], in 1/25 [22.85 inch] So 22 in 1/24 and 23 in 1/25 Now compared to pegusus sleeves they come with better tires unless you like rubber bands But the hubs and bolt pattern are very 1/24 so if you are 100 strict with scale these are not the right pieces For those who want to purchase any of the sets Contact shucky on modelcarsmag.com tell him I sent you

That's good info bud. Does the lip allow you to set the rim insert at different depths?
I just might have to get a few sets.
