Thanks Guys.
Slightly raised all around is how we did it back in the 60s, not much of a raise on this one , but a future build ( 66 442 ) will be slightly higher. Will probably use those wheels but slightly modified ( not cut up or nothing--but just made to look more like my orig car). Tom

Got into working on it today and found these problem spots already. 1st was in pics orig I think, 2nd is top of front seat at rear on top of seat. seams as though their is always some thing to slow one down. Seat repair is going to be tough as it encompasses two of the pleats in the seat, just more to fix. also found a lot of flash so far.. Moving forward -- slowly. Tom

Thanks Paul and Grumpy--I am trying..
Now over to the interior..I am trying to get it ready for the Embossing Powder on the Carpet and bottom of doors. That is some tough masking work isn't it...This model has built in floor mats , that I am going to try a little trick on.. Seeing as how I have never done this before, any one know the ratio of water to elmers glue and how long do you wait before you apply the embossing powder..
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated... Thanks Tom

Well I did my first Embossing Powder trick..Turned out pretty good i think.. Might have untaped it a little on the to quick side , but live and learn. I plan on repainting it when I do the paint on the interior. That will put color on the outlines of the floor mats which are now white in the pic.Included is a pic . Thanks Tom

Nice trick. If you're not happy with it, can't you dip it and start Over. You got time. Lol

Grumpy and Ice,
Thank you for the comments..I am happy with it , like I said earlier - when I paint the interior , it should show the boarders of the floor mats as slightly lighter than the rugs and interior .Then with the rest of the interior detail work it should look good against the -- multiple colors--chrome -- and aluminum trim--throughout the interior. At least that is what I am trying for..
Tom
